–Lady Cougars send West Forsyth packing with win
27 October 2007ASHEVILLE - October 26, 2007 - The Asheville field hockey team continues on it’s quest to win their first state title in their 19 years of existence. They dispatched their semi-final opponent, the West Forsyth Titans, 2-0 to advance to the finals of the West Regional to be played on Saturday at 1:00.

ASHEVILLE - September 25, 2007 - The Asheville High School field hockey team, the only public high school east of Morganton that plays the game, is on top of it’s game. On Tuesday, they ran their record to 12-1, beating West Forsyth, 3-0, at Asheville Memorial Stadium.
