ASHEVILLE - November 16, 2007 - The second round of the NCHSAA playoffs were not kind to teams in Western North Carolina and other mountain areas on Friday night. Eight of the 13 regional teams went down to defeat. The winners were East Burke (4-AA), Watauga (4-A), Roberson (3-AA), Asheville (3-A) and Pisgah (2-AA).

26 October 2007ASHEVILLE - October 26, 2007 - Two radio stations, WECR-Glory 1130 and WZJS-100.7 MAC-FM are now members of the PREPalert.com broadcast team.
Glory 1130 carries the Avery County football games and 100.7 MAC-FM carries Watauga football games.
We will also carry the basketball games for Watauga this winter.
