–Two new radio stations join the PREPalert.com team

ASHEVILLE - October 26, 2007 - Two radio stations, WECR-Glory 1130 and WZJS-100.7 MAC-FM are now members of the PREPalert.com broadcast team.
Glory 1130 carries the Avery County football games and 100.7 MAC-FM carries Watauga football games. 
We will also carry the basketball games for Watauga this winter.

–Rockets’ soccer game with McDowell postponed until Saturday

REYNOLDS - October 26, 2007 - Because of onslaught of rain over the past week, the soccer game originally scheduled for Wednesday between Reynolds and McDowell has been rescheduled for 12:30 on Saturday at McDowell.

Lots of oomph in mountain offenses

The results are in. The Spread offenses that are widespread throughout western North Carolina are putting up bigger numbers across the region, with recent games resembling defensive-minded basketball scores and less like defensive struggles on the gridiron.
