9 November 2007ASHEVILLE - November 9, 2007 - Two volleyball teams, one made up of players from the Mountain Athletic Conference and the other one made up of players from the Western Highlands Conference, will participate in the Red-Blue All-Star Tournament in Greensboro at Greensboro Sports Plex. 5 November 2007WINSTON-SALEM - November 3, 2007 - John Harwell placed 5th in the boys 3-A X-Country Championship at Tanglewood Park in Winston-Salem on Saturday, leading Asheville Cougars to a 2nd place finish, just seven points behind champion Mooresville. Harwell ran a 16:25, 55 seconds behind medalist Ryan Hill from Hickory who blistered the course in 15:30.
