–Greenies lose in 1st round of 2008 NCISAA lacrosse championships

CHARLOTTE - The Christ School Greenies were 3-3, six games into the season.  Then they ran off seven straight wins before losing to Providence Day to finish the regular season 10-4. 

The Greenies were the 4th seed in the tournament, drawing #5 Durham Academy and

Christ School fell behind early to Durham Academy, but only trailed 4-3 at the half. 

The Greenies took a 5-4 lead in the third quarter, but the Cavaliers tied the game at 5-5 to start the final quarter.

Durham Academy scored the only goal in the fourth quarter for the 6-5 win, although the Greenies had their chances.

They finished 10-5 on the season and lose 11 seniors off of this year’s team.
