–#5 ACA tops #1 High Point Christian is semi’s, await winner of game two
16 May 2008HARRELLS, NC - The 5th seeded ACA Lions beat #1 High Point Christian in the semi-finals of the 2-A NCISAA baseball championship.
The win puts them into the finals for the second time in the last three years.
They lost to Calvery Baptist in 2006 in the finals (best 2 of 3) 9-8 in the first game and 9-6 in the second game.
The Lions play the first game of the finals today at 4:00 against the winner of #3 Rocky Mount Academy and #2 Southlake Christian.
Game two is scheduled for 11:00 am on Saturday. If a third game is needed, they will play again at 2:00.
