2 May 2008

ARDEN -  After deciding to obtain his release from Stanford after former coach Trent Johnson left the Cardinals and signed with LSU, Miles Plumlee received offers from Duke, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Notre Dame, Purdue, Southern Cal and UCLA in the last couple of weeks.

He didn’t waste his time once he got his release by signing with Duke, joining younger brother Mason, a junior who committed to the Blue Devils in February.

Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski flew into Asheville for the second time in 2 months to get Miles’ signiture

Plumlee had originally signed with Stanford in November, 2007 and averaged a team-high 15.8 points and 6.9 rebounds in his senior season.
