–ACA scores 20 runs in win over Spartanburg Day

SPARTANBURG - Friday, March 14, 2007 - Matt Justice pitched two scoreless innings for the win on as he and his fellow teammates scored 19 runs in the first two innings as the ACA Lions defeated Spartanburg Day on Friday, 20-1.

The Lions had 16 hits, win Michael Moore leading the way, going three for four with three RBI’s. 

Justice also went 2 for 2, with a double and 3 RBI’s, Brad Guengerich 2 for 3, with a triple and 2 RBI’s, and Jared Robinson, who was 2 for 4, with a double and 2 RBI’s. 

Spartanburg Day’s only run came off an RBI by Frost.

ACA pitcher’s had seven strikeouts, but senior Daniel Martin was involved in 7 of 8 other outs, playing four positions.  He started at first (2), then played third (2), then right field (1) and he finished at second base (2).
