–Enka takes first match, loses in second round of Team Duals

HICKORY - February 5, 2008 - Enka defeated the Wildcats from North Gaston in the first round but lost to host St. Stephens Indians in the Dual Team District Championship held at St. Stephens High School.

Dispite having three forfeits in the North Gaston match, Enka won 49-28 with Shively (130), Tweed (135), O. Halbach (140), Guthrie (152), Justice (171), Bennett (189) and Jarvis (215) each getting pins. 

In the St. Stephens match, the Jets never got on-track as the Indians, who are ranked #4 in the state, won nine of the 14 matches.  Enka only got 2 pins by Creaseman (103) and Ownbey (125).
