–Erwin’s Brooke Robinson to sign ‘Letter of Intent’ on Wednesday

LEICESTER - November 13, 2007 - Last year as a junior, Brooke Robinson made the 2007 Mountain Athletic All Conference Team.  She had a 2.38 earned run average with 124 strikeouts in 105 2/3 innings pitched.  She also had nine complete games with four saves while hitting for a .310 batting average during her junior year.

Robinson will be signing a national letter of intent to play softball for the Tusculum College Pioneers during the early signing period that starts on Wednesday, November 14, 2007.  She will signing at 10:00 a.m. in the media center at Erwin High School.

PREPalert.com will be there on Wednesday. 

She will play for first year coach, Fred Gillum, who has made a habit out of building programs into respectable and competitive squads.
