–MAC & WHC sends all-star volleyball teams to Greensboro

ASHEVILLE - November 9, 2007 - Two volleyball teams, one made up of players from the Mountain Athletic Conference and the other one made up of players from the Western Highlands Conference, will participate in the Red-Blue All-Star Tournament in Greensboro at Greensboro Sports Plex.  The tournament includes 24 All-Star teams from conferences all over the state.

The team made up from the MAC is being coached by Franklin’s Anna Shields and Enka’s Sue Moon.

The WHC team is being coached by Jenny Johnson from Owen and Melissa Callahan from Polk.

The 11 members of the MAC are as follows:

Enka–Katie Dawson, Lauren Hall, Rachel Olivo
Erwin–Elizabeth Coleman
Franklin–Amber Bennett, Jena Cabe, Evan Moffitt
North Buncombe–Meg Bridges, Kirsten Hamel
Roberson–Brittany Hagler, Perri Kylow

The 12 members of the WHC are as follows:
