–2007 Fall Baseball-Wooden Bat Tournament this weekend

SKYLAND - October 12, 2007 - Roberson won the regular season in the wooden bat Fall Ball League with an 11-1 record and hopes that sucess will spill over into the 2007 Fall Baseball-Wooden Bat Tournament that starts on Saturday.  They, along with runner-up, Swain, who was second in the regular season with a 10-2 record, get first round byes.

Enka was third with a 9-3-1 regular season record and will start things off on Saturday morning at Valley Springs Middle School beginning at 9:00 am against Owen.  Reynolds, with a 9-4 record, was fourth and they play on Sunday at 2:45 against Henderson County BRB.

The schedule for Saturday and Sunday are as follows:

SATURDAY-Valley Springs Middle School

9:00 - Enka vs Owen
11:15 - Asheville vs Smoky Mt
1:30 - North Henderson vs Patton
3:45 - Erwin vs ABC

SUNDAY-Valley Springs Middle School

2:45 - Reynolds vs Henderson County BRB
5:00 - The Wood vs Brevard
