–North Buncombe to host wrestling clinic on Saturday
11 October 2007WEAVERVILLE - October 10, 2007 - According to head coach Lance Robinson, the North Buncombe Black Hawks’ will host ’The Champions Clinic’ for both middle school and high school wrestlers Saturday from 10am to 3 pm.
The clinic will feature a Drew Forshey, a former high school All-American and four-time NCHSAA state champion who wrestled with the University of North Carolina. He won the 2005 ACC title.
Campers will receive instruction is basic wrestling skills, as well as the most current techniques used at the collegiate level.
It is open to wrestlers in the 7th though 12th grades and the cost is $20.
