–ACA boys run away with CAA X-Country meet
3 October 2007SWANNANOA - October 2, 2007 - The ACA Lions boys hosted and won the ACA Invite on Tuesday afternoon at their course on the campus property. The course travels through the woods and by the Swannanoa River and is relatively flat. Led by Zach Barnett (18:40) who finished fourth, ACA tallied 51 points to beat Rabun Gap (62) by 11 and Carolina Day (81) by 30 points.
In the team competition, behind Carolina Day was Asheville School (100) who finished 4th, Spartanburg Day (118) finished 5th, Christ School (124) was 6th, and Shannon Forest (154) was 7th.
Barnett’s teammates, Lawson McDonald (18:56) was 7th, Blake Hedrick (19:28) was 9th, Micah Tadlock (19:50) was 14th and Tyler Glenn (20:10) was 17th.
Carolina Day’s Davis Graham (17:19) easily defeated runner-up Rett English (17:54) from Christ School. Graham’s teammate Will Jordan (18:17) was 3rd, Barnett was 4th, and Matt Jones (18:43) from Rabun Gap was 5th.
